Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Dr. Wenjun Dai grew in a family of Chinese Medicine practitioners. Later, He graduated from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in China (One of the four earliest founded Universities of Chinese Medicine in China since 1956) and has his bachelor, master and Ph.D. degrees in Acupuncture.  

After graduating from university, he started his practice as a Medical Doctor in one of the biggest Chinese Medicine hospital in China where he treated various diseases with integration of acupuncture, herbs, massage and Western Medicine. Dr. Wenjun Dai has been practicing Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine for more than 18 years. He has studied from many famous veteran TCM practitioners in China during his work and study.  

In China, Dr. Wenjun Dai was also an Associated Professor of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine teaching acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and massage to students from different levels and different countries worldwide.  

Dr. Wenjun Dai is the member of China Acupuncture Association which is the National Acupuncture Association in China. He has been invited to teach Acupuncture and Chinese medicine in USA, Chile, Argentina, and Hong Kong since 2000. 

Dr. Wenjun Dai moved to Calgary not long ago and received the highest point when he took the Alberta Provincial Exam of registered acupuncturist.  

He is now the Dean and main lecturer and clinical supervisor of an acupuncture and Chinese medicine College in Calgary and a member of the Alberta Association of Traditional Chinese Medical Doctors. 

He is the author and co-author of more than 10 books in Chinese medicine and acupuncture and had his papers of clinical application and research on acupuncture and Chinese medicine published in Medical Journals.  

Dr. Wenjun Dai is specialized in using acupuncture, herbs and massage in treating various diseases including musculoskeletal diseases (back pain, cervical spondylosis , sciatica, various joint pain, etc), headache, migraine, insomnia, stress, nerve diseases, digestive diseases, allergic diseases, ENT. diseases, skin diseases, etc.
